Downloadable Drivers

QStudio bundles a small number of drivers but should automatically download more if you select a database that is not included with the download. Occasionally this will error, likely causes can include:

  • Firewall issues
  • HTTP proxy issues
  • Permissions errors with QStudio writing to disk.

Adding More Drivers

When QStudio starts, drivers can be loaded from a two locations:

  • Current Directory ./libs - The libs folder relative to where you started QStudio.
  • Home directory {HOME}/qstudio/libs - On windows this will be C:\Users\{current-username}\qstudio\libs\

Download your JDBC driver either from timestored.com or maven or the vendors website and place it into that directory to make it load in QStudio.
